Sporting Lagos forward Junior Lokosa says the side’s victory over Remo Stars was a reward for hard work.
Lokosa said the players were determined to secure the maximum points in the encounter.
Sporting Lagos defeated Remo Stars 4-1 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Sunday.
Godwin Odibo netted a brace with Paschal Durugbor and Lokosa scoring a goal each in the game.
Salaudeen Aliu scored an own goal to give Remo Stars a consolation in the game.
“I’m just very happy to be on the score sheet,” he told DAILY POST.
“We needed the points because we worked very hard in preparation for the game.
“Me scoring against my former club was just to make a statement and help my team get the needed result from the game.”
Sporting Lagos moved to 12th position on the table with the win.
