Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, has slammed Liverpool and defender Trent Alexander-Arnold over the England star’s recent comment about trophy.
Liverpool full-back, Alexander-Arnold had suggested that trophies “mean more” to his team than their domestic rivals Manchester City
Liverpool are competing with Manchester City for the Premier League and FA Cup trophies this season as the Reds hope to stop Pep Guardiola’s side from defending two of the three titles they claimed in 2022-23.
Anfield hero Alexander-Arnold admits his side face a daunting task in dethroning the European and English champions, but says that his side will enjoy the success more than their rivals
Reacting to the comment, Haaland told Sky UK, “Liverpool can talk as much as they want, or Trent Alexander-Arnold can talk as much as he wants… I don’t know why he does that, but I don’t mind.
“If he wants to say that, okay.
“I’ve been here one year and I’ve won the treble and it was quite a nice feeling, I don’t think he knows exactly this feeling…”
