The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Board has fined Niger Tornadoes N3 million for failing to provide adequate security in their home game against Rangers last weekend.

The Ikon Allah Boys fell to a 2-0 defeat against Rangers.

Tornadoes, according to the NPFL, breached its framework by also failing to control their fans.

The Minna club have 48 hours to appeal this decision.

Niger Tornadoes are battling to escape the drop.

The club currently occupy 18th position in the NPFL table with 24 points from 22 games.
