The Nigeria National League has charged players from the division to put in their best at the 13th Africa Games in Ghana.
The quartet of Andy Clinton Ezekiel (Rovers FC), Ime Godwin Sampson (Dakkada FC), Oladunjoye Shola Yinka (Madiba FC) and Sunday Joseph ( Wikki Tourists) were named in the 20-man Flying Eagles squad for the football event.
The NNL chairman George Aluo believes the NNL has high-quality players who can fit into any of the national teams in the country.
Aluo also expressed confidence in coach Ladan Bosso, insisting that he would lead the country to a medal finish.
He implored the players to exhibit their talents at the games to open more opportunities for them in world football, advising other national team coaches to emulate Bosso and beam their searchlight on the league.
The football event of the competition is billed to kick-start on March 8 2024.
Nigeria is in group B alongside Senegal, Cameroon and Morocco.
