Barcelona striker, Asisat Oshoala is set for a shock move to Women’s Super League side, Manchester United.

Oshoala was heavily linked with Man United in the summer of 2021 but Barcelona ended up persuading her to sign a new contract.

According to TEAMtalk, the Red Devils want to bolster their attacking options with the signing of the former Arsenal and Liverpool striker this January.

Man United had hoped to sign Brazil international, Kerolin Nicoli but an injury has changed their plans, thereby shifting their attention to Oshoala.

Manchester United are behind first-placed Chelsea in the Women’s Super League at the moment and the signing of Oshoala could enhance their chances of closing the gap between them and the table leaders.

Oshoala joined Barcelona in 2019 and has played 108 games in the Primera División Femenina

The Nigerian has scored 92 goals for the Spanish club.
