Mohammed Babaganaru has left his post as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League side, Gombe United, DAILY POST reports.

Babaganaru, a two-time winner of the NPFL with Kano Pillars, took the decision over poor funding of the club.

Gombe United several times arrived late for away games this season which has affected the team’s performance.

The Savannah Scorpions are currently battling with relegation following an underwhelming campaign.

Gombe United occupy 19th position on the NPFL table with 21 points from 21 matches.
