Thomas Tuchel has confirmed his departure from Bayern Munich.

The club had earlier confirmed that the German would leave at the end of the current season.

Decision was made by both club and head coach, Tuchel.

Confirming that it is over between him and Bayern, Tuchel told reporters on Tuesday, “We have agreed that we will end our collaboration after the end of this season.

“Until then, my coaching staff and I will of course continue to do everything we can to ensure maximum success for FC Bayern.”
