Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has revealed the reason for his team’s struggles in recent games.
The Oluyole Warriors end their six-game winless run with a narrow victory against Bayelsa United in Ibadan.
Ogunbote explained that fatigue was the major cause of his team’s poor run of form.
He said that the injection of fresh legs into the starting line-up paid with the win.
“Like I said, we have played six games without a win, psychologically, everybody would have been down, the confidence level would have dropped,” he revealed to the club’s media.
“We were just trying to see how we can manage the situation.
“We have played 16 games so far, we have one outstanding game and we still have about 22 games to determine that, that’s quite a lot, I think our target still remains realistic.”
