Bendel Insurance technical adviser Monday Odigie has backed his team to improve as the second round of the league progresses.

The Benin Arsenals suffered a 1-0 defeat against Sporting Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos on Sunday.

Odigie expressed confidence that his team will return to winning ways and get better in the league.

” The game has come and gone, we will continue to work on our mistakes and continue to correct them and get better,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“Sometimes you are well prepared but some mistakes can cost you the game.”

Bendel Insurance dropped down to eighth position on the table following the defeat.

The Benin Arsenals will lock horns with Enyimba on matchday 21 in Benin.
