The outcome of the match means Man City still remains in third place on the Premier League table with 53 points from 24 matches.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are in 10th place with 35 points from 25 games.
Liverpool still maintain the top position with 57 points from 25 games, while Arsenal are in second place with 55 points from the same number of matches.
The Reds had defeated Brentford 4-1 earlier on Saturday, while the Gunners thrashed Burnley 5-0.
