Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is hoping to have Luke Shaw visit for their Premier League trip to Luton Town this weekend.

Shaw was taken off at halftime of their 2-1 win at Aston Villa last Sunday.

Ten Hag admits the left-back is still a doubt but hopes he will prove his fitness in time.

“Yes, so he is doubtful for the weekend but we are positive he can make it,” Ten Hag told reporters.

United are currently without Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrell Malacia in full-back positions.

Malacia has not played all season, while Wan-Bissaka has missed the last month.

“Wan-Bissaka will take some weeks because he picked up another injury in training last week. Mason [Mount] and Tyrell will take some more weeks,” Ten Hag added.
