Enyimba assistant coach, Olanrewaju Yemi, has said his side’s victory against Sporting Lagos was a well-orchestrated plan.
The People’s Elephant defeated Sporting Lagos 2-0 at home in Aba on Sunday.
Enyimba are now unbeaten in their last five league games.
Yemi said his team played to cage the firepower of their opponent.
“Our game plan was different in the win against Sporting Lagos,” he told the club’s media.
“The intensity was much we stopped them from building from the defence to the attack.
“The players played to instructions in wrapping up the game, we are getting better as the games progresses.
“Scoring two goals in the game was a big relief for the team despite all the injuries to our key players.”
Enyimba moved up to fourth position on the table with the win.
