The Nigeria Professional Football League has again postponed the matchday 13 rescheduled fixture involving Sporting Lagos and Rivers United, DAILY POST reports.
The game was initially rearranged for Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, but the encounter has been moved to a later date.
The NPFL announced that the reason for the postponement was the unavailability of the Remo Stars Stadium.
DAILY POST recalled that the game was moved from the initial venue(Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan) because of the unavailability of the stadium in Lagos.
Rivers United, who already arrived in Lagos two days ago before moving to Ikenne on Wednesday will now shift their focus to the clash against Shooting Stars in Ibadan.
The matchday 15 encounter between both teams was postponed due to Rivers United’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The game is billed to take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Saturday.
