Katsina United have announced the signing of six new players ahead of the second stanza of the 2023/23 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The players are Abiodun Adebayo, Jonas Emmanuel, Abdulahi Musa Wakili, Shamsudeen Hashim, Taofeek Ahmed and Jonah James
Experienced forward Emmanuel joined the Chanji Boys from Rangers, fleet footed attacking midfielder Wakili and Hashim arrived from Lobi Stars, while forward Ahmed joined from Kwara United.
James and Adebayo linked up with United from Abia Comets and Niger Tornadoes, respectively.
The players are expected to help boost the performance of the club in the second half of the season.
Katsina United struggled in the opening weeks of the season but picked up towards the end of the first stanza.
The second stanza is expected to resume on February 14.
