Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has remained coy about the possibility of signing Jordan Henderson on Saturday.

Henderson is believed to be unhappy at Al-Ettifaq and is targeting a return to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

The 33-year-old only left Liverpool six months ago but will consider offers from any teams in the top flight.

The former Reds captain would add valuable experience to a young Chelsea squad.

However, speaking after a 4-0 win over Preston in the FA Cup on Saturday, Pochettino did not want to discuss the player.

“We didn’t talk about names. At the moment, we are not talking about players.

“I saw [co-owner] Behdad Eghbali with [co-sporting directors] Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley.

“I think tomorrow we are going to have a chat,” Pochettino said.
