Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos is looking forward to a difficult game against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.

South Africa head into the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash as the underdog.

Broos, however, said his team is up for the battle and will go all out for a win against the three-time champions.

“Yes, we know and understand who we are up against. We know the might of this team and that their players play all over Europe,” the Belgian told a press conference in Bouake.

“We also know that last time in an AFCON what the result was, but this time it’s different. It’s different players, a different team and a different AFCON. Anything is possible.”

Broos is bidding for a second AFCON title after leading Cameroon to the winners’ medal in 2017.
