Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka has expressed confidence that Jose Peseiro’s side are ready for their next chapter at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

The Brentford star said this in a tweet via his X account on Saturday.

He tweeted, “We’re ready for the next chapter of this !”

DAILY POST reports that this is coming less than 24 hours after Onyeka helped Nigeria defeat Angola 1-0 in the AFCON quarterfinal on Friday.

A goal from Ademola Lookman ensured the Super Eagles booked their place in the AFCON last four.

Nigeria will face the winner between Cape Verde and South Africa in the semi-final.
