Stanley Nwabali has expressed his desire for the Super Eagles to face South Africa in the semi-final at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nwabali, who plays for South African club, Chippa United, wants to see how the Super Eagles fare against the Bafana Bafana.
South Africa will face Cape Verde in a quarter-final clash on Saturday (today).
The winner of the fixture will take on the Super Eagles in the last four in Bouake next Wednesday.
“Both Cape Verde and South Africa are good teams, but I want to play against South Africa,” Nwabali told reporters.
“I really wish to see how my defence will fare against them.
“Yes, most of their players know me, and I also know them.”
Nwabali has conceded once in five outings at the AFCON 2023 finals.
