Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali will be between the sticks when Nigeria faces Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final tie on Friday evening.
Recall that The Chippa United keeper was a major doubt after he sustained a knee injury during Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Cameroon in the round of 16 clash last Saturday.
However, Super Eagles manager Jose Peseiro, has kept faith in his players who started against Cameroon in the round of 16, and expects them to get a good result against Angola.
Peseiro will maintain the 3-4-3 formation with the likes of William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, and Calvin Bassey to shield Nwabali.
Ola Aina and Zaidu Sanusi will be on the right and left flanks.
Alex Iwobi and Frank Onyeka will occupy the midfield, while Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon will spearhead the attack.
The match will take place at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan at 6 pm.
