Stanley Nwabali trained fully with his Super Eagles teammates again on Thursday ahead of Friday’s quarter-final clash with Angola.
Head coach Jose Peseiro revealed during his pre-match conference earlier today that the Chippa United shot-stopper will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the game.
Nwabali participated in all the drills along with the duo of Francis Uzoho and Ojo Olorunleke.
The 27-year-old is now in contention to start the game against the Palancas Negras.
Nwabali has kept three clean sheets in four outings for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Friday’s encounter will be held at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.
