Former Chelsea and PSG manager, Thomas Tuchel, is keen on becoming the next manager of England.

Tuchel has been out of work since he was sacked at Stamford Bridge.

But according to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the German is open to the Three Lions role.

The Football Association, FA, have now made Tuchel a favourite ahead of Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola.

Romano tweeted on Tuesday: “Thomas Tuchel has opened to the possibility of becoming new England head coach already in July.

“Talks are now ongoing with Tuchel who’s strong candidate to replace Lee Carsley.

“He’s the clear favorite, as Man City are confident to keep FA’s dream target Pep Guardiola.”
