Abia Warriors captain Augustine Njoku has said the team is in Lafia to beat their hosts Nasarawa United.
Imama Amapakabo’s side will head into the game in confident mood following last weekend’s 1-0 home victory over Kwara United.
Njoku stated that the team want to build on the victory in their last game.
“The spirit in the camp is high; I believe we didn’t come here for a jamboree or play, we are here for the maximum points,” Njoku told the club’s media.
Abia Warriors currently occupy ninth position in the table with eight points from six games.
Nasarawa United were thrashed 3-0 by Remo Stars in their last game.
