The Super Eagles will be without Samuel Chukwueze for Tuesday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.

Chukwueze sustained a hamstring injury during the first game against the Mediterranean Knights on Friday.

The AC Milan had come off the bench in the second half, as Nigeria searched for a goal at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

He will now return to Milan for assessment on the injury.

Interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen, is likely to stick with the duo of Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon again for the reverse fixture.

The three-time African champions are looking to strengthen their grip on Group D.
