Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, has given an honest reason why he would not be replacing Erik ten Hag as the club’s manager.
The former Premier League icon was responding to a question about him potentially replacing the Dutchman.
The 53-year-old former player was once into management, taking charge of Sunderland and Ipswich after his retirement in 2006.
However, a return to Old Trafford in a managerial role is out of the question for Keane, who believes the club hierarchy would not even bother to come for him.
On The Overlap podcast, Keane was asked by Ian Wright about signing on to be United’s interim manager.
He said, “They’re not gonna be asking me.
“They just wouldn’t. They just wouldn’t.”
