Heartland head coach, Emmanuel Amuneke has admitted he is relieved after the Naze Millionaires recorded their first win of the season.
The Owerri club defeated Niger Tornadoes 2-0 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday to end their barren run.
Michael Ogu scored both goals for the former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions in the matchday 5 encounter.
Heartland recorded one draw and three defeats from their previous four outings.
Amuneke said: “I am happy for the players.
“We deserved this moment of joy.
“It has given us a relief and it will give us the confidence going into our next match against El Kanemi.”
