Lobi Stars ended their barren run courtesy of a 1-0 win over Shooting Stars at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday.

Samuel Tiza’s 29th-minute strike separated both teams on the night.

Lobi Stars have now amassed four points from five games in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, this season.

Eugene Agagbe’s side moved to 13th position on the log following the win.

Shooting Stars, who occupy 13th position on the log, have recorded five points from five games.

Elsewhere, Bendel Insurance and El-Kanemi Warriors battled to a thrilling 1-1 draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

Ibrahim Mustapha gave El-Kanemi Warriors the lead after two minutes.

The hosts levelled through Michael Enaruna in the 19th minute.
