Rivers United have announced the departure of Blessing Okpe and Olamide Adugbe, DAILY POST reports.
Okpe signed a one-year deal with Turkey’s Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Kulübü while Adugbe joined Italy’s Napoli Femminile on a one-year contract with a two-year option.
Rivers Angels General Manager Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha, praised the duo’s dedication and commitment, wishing them success in their international careers.
“We appreciate Blessing and Olamide’s passion and commitment to Rivers Angels during their time with us,” she said.
“Their invaluable contributions to our success will inspire future generations. We wish them successful careers in Turkey and Italy.”
Blessing Okpe spent four seasons with Rivers Angels, while Adugbe played for Angels on loan from Abuja-based side Naija Ratels.
