Ikorodu City are optimistic of a positive result in their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday three fixture against Kwara United.

The Oga Boys stated that the team is physically and mentally prepared for the game.

Ikorodu City will face Kwara United at the Kwara State Sports Complex in Ilorin on Sunday.

Bright Ozebagbe’s side suffered 3-0 defeat in their opening fixture of the season against Kano Pillars.

“We know back-to-back away games at the start of the season can be overwhelming especially for a new side like us, but we’ve embraced the challenge,” Ikorodu City wrote on their website.

“The squad has worked tirelessly over the past two weeks, both mentally and physically and there’s a real belief that we can go out there and deliver.

“Our preparations have been focused and intense and we’re determined to make every moment count this weekend.”
