Niger Tornadoes head coach, Majin Mohammed, has attributed his team’s draw with Nasarawa United to pressure of playing at home after a long absence.

The Ikon Allah Boys returned to their original ground at the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium for the encounter since 2020.

Niger Tornadoes were held to a goalless draw by Nasarawa United.

“The pressure of returning home after four years affected them, they’ve not been used to this type of crowd in home game for a while now, maybe that’s the cause.” Majin stated in a post-match interview.

Niger Tornadoes have garnered four points from two opening fixtures for the 2024-25 campaign.

They will take on Plateau United in a matchday three fixture next weekend.
