Austrian star, Christoph Baumgartner has apologised to Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard for the role he played in him being injured.
The Austrian played a role in getting the Arsenal captain injured.
Both men were on the opposite sides of the pitch as Norway and Australia clashed in the UEFA Nations League, with Odegaard and his teammates claiming a 2-1 win on Monday.
RB Leipzig man, Baumgartner quickly went on Instagram to share a classy message to the Arsenal man following his injury after their collision.
The forward apologised to the Arsenal man, writing that he never intended to injure him.
He wrote, “Hi guys! I would like to sincerely apologise to Martin Odegaard.
“It was never my intention to injure this fantastic player. I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery! Come back stronger @odegaard.”
