Rwanda coach, Torsten Frank Spittler, has singled out Super Eagles frontline players for praise following both teams’ goalless draw at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifier on Tuesday.

Spittler branded the Super Eagles forwards as world-class, adding that they are not on the same level as Rwanda strikers.

DAILY POST reports that the Super Eagles forwards that featured against Rwanda at the Stade Amahoro in Kigali are Victor Boniface, Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon.

Augustine Eguavoen’s side created so many chances during the encounter but Rwanda were rescued by the heroics of goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari, who made several crucial saves.

“Everybody could see this Nigerian team, especially the forward line is world-class, and we also had a few chances where you could see the difference between our strikers and their strikers,” Spittler told reporters after the game.
