Former Manchester United attacker, Wout Weghorst, was involved in a heated clash with Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber during a Netherlands training session on Sunday.
Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman was forced to intervene as Weghorst was left angered by a challenge from Timber during the training.
Both players exchanged words, while Weghorst continued to complain to Koeman about Timber’s tackle on him.
Koeman, trying to resolve the issue, replied as quoted by Metro UK: “I said something to you, I said something to them. And now it’s over!”
However, as soon as the training session ended, Weghorst immediately left the pitch as he took off his training shirt, while the rest of his teammates remained on the field.
The Netherlands will face Germany in their second Nations League game on Tuesday evening.
