Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman says the team will be up for the battle against Angola.
Nigeria will face the Black Antelopes in the quarter-finals at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday.
The encounter will take place at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.
Angola have enjoyed a stellar campaign so far in Cote d’Ivoire, winning three and drawing one of their four games.
Lookman, who scored a brace in the Super Eagles’ 2-0 win against Cameroon on Saturday, stated that they will prepare very well for the game.
“Angola are a good team. We’ll analyze them and prepare. The further you go, the tougher it gets so we’ll take it game by game,” Lookman told reporters.
