Abia Warriors captain Augustine Njoku says that the players are ready for the opening fixture of the new season against Remo Stars.
The Umuahia-based club will host Remo Stars on Sunday.
Njoku pointed out that the new players are pushing to justify their recruitment into the team.
“The players are ready to go, the mood in the camp is very high,” Njoku told Abia Warriors media.
“The new players are in a match mood; they are rearing to show the qualities that attracted the club to signing them.”
Abia Warriors and Remo Stars played out a goalless draw in their last meeting in Aba.
