Germany coach Kathrin Peter is expecting a difficult game against Nigeria’s Falconets at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The former champions will take on Chris Danjuma’s side in their second group game at the Estadio El Techo, Bogota on Wednesday night.

The Europeans dismantled Venezuela 5-2 in their opening fixture on Sunday.

The Falconets on the other recorded a slim 1-0 win against Korea Republic in a tightly contested game.

Peter reckoned the Nigerian girls will be a tough nut to crack for his side.

“It’ll be a completely different game [to our first match]. Nigeria is very athletic and physically strong,” the coach told FIFA.com.

“We’ll watch their match [against Korea Republic] and we’ll see how they played. Then we’ll prepare and I’m sure we’ll see another good, exciting game.”
