Falconets head coach Christopher Danjuma is expecting a better performance from his players against Germany.

The West Africans started their campaign at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup with a slim 1-0 victory over Korea Republic.

Ahead of the clash with the Germans, Danjuma stated that his players will up their performance.

“We team performed well [in the first match against Korea Republic], but I know we’re going to perform much, much better than this,” he told FIFA.com.

This will be the fifth meeting between Nigeria and Germany at this level.

The Falconets are yet to record a win against the former champions.

The Germans defeated Nigeria in the final in 2010 and 2014.
