Former Bendel Insurance goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie has expressed excitement with his return to the Super Eagles.
Obasogie is in Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
It’s the second time the goal tender will be invited to the Super Eagles.
“I feel happy, it’s good to be home,” he said on arrival in camp.
“Everyone wishes to be in the national team, but I feel very happy and humbled to be in camp and to see wonderful people.”.
Obasogie recently sealed a move to Ethiopian club, Fasil Ketema.
He won the Golden Glove award in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season with 18 clean sheets.
