The Falconets of Nigeria lost 1-0 to Mexico in their last friendly ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Alejandro Lomeli scored the winning goal for the Mexicans in the 10th minute.

Chris Danjuma’s will now shift attention to their opening fixture at the World Cup against South Korea.

They will take on the South Koreans in Bogota on Sunday, September 1.

Former champions, Germany and Venezuela are the other countries in the group.
