Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has penned a contract extension at Serie A club, Udinese.

Okoye’s contract will now expire in June 30, 2028.

The new contract brings an end to speculations surrounding his future at the club.

The goalkeeper arrived Friuli from Sky Bet Championship club, Watford in 2023.

The 23-year-old earned a leading role during the past season, demonstrating a high standard of performance that made him one of the best performing goalkeepers in the Italian top-flight.

Okoye made 22 league appearances for the Zebras last season.
