El-Kanemi Warriors head coach, Aliyu Zubairu has expressed disappointment with the outcome of his side’s CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first-leg clash against Dadje FC of Benin Republic.

The Maiduguri club held the visitors to a 1-1 draw in Ikenne on Saturday.

Selasie Bakai gave Dadje the lead on the half-hour mark.

The hosts levelled scores through Gimba Ajiji in stoppage time.

“It is not good to be using a competition properly to know the weakness of your team,” Aliyu said after the game.

The two teams will clash in the reverse fixture next weekend.
