Scratch that. The Premier League is a much more exciting league than what was witnessed in Friday’s opening fixture at Old Trafford.
For almost 88 minutes, it felt the new campaign would open with a drab, goalless affair, until new boy Joshua Zirkzee came off the bench to stroke home the winner.

“They have quality. But I don’t think Maresca’s side will start germinating immediately.
“I saw Chelsea’s pre-season games and even though we could see how they intend to play, they are far from ready, especially the defensive structure.
“I’m tipping them for a top five finish on quality and if they get Osimhen, it’s a huge upgrade on Jackson.”
At the bottom of the table, Adava does not expect Everton to survive relegation this time around.

“And I’m not seeing enough quality players in their summer windows.
