Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has dropped Jadon Sancho from his squad to face Fulham in the Premier League opening fixture on Friday night.
Sancho is not even included among the substitutes, prompting questions about his future at Old Trafford.
No immediate reason has been given for his absence from tonight’s game.
Sancho came on as a substitute in the Community Shield last Saturday and missed his kick during the penalty shootout at Wembley.
Despite a truce being established between Sancho and Ten Hag following their very public disagreement, which led to the winger being exiled and then sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund, it has always felt like a marriage of convenience and there have been a string of rumours about the player potentially moving on.
