Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal, was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a car park on Wednesday evening, according to La Vanguardia.

The incident happened in the Spanish town of Mataro.

It is understood that a fracas broke out in the car part and Nasraoui was stabbed “multiple times”.

Nasraoui was left in a serious condition and was taken to Can Ruti hospital in Badalona in an ambulance.

Reports in Spanish outlets claim that while he remains in hospital he is “out of danger”.

Nasraoui was present as his 17-year-old son won the European Championship title with Spain last month.
