Manchester United legend, Garry Neville, has suggested that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta no longer has faith in Fabio Vieira.
Vieira joined Arsenal from Porto for a fee of £34million in the summer of 2022.
Unfortunately, attacking midifelder has not been a regular player under Arteta.
Speaking about the Portuguese, Neville told Sky Sports: “Arteta, he looks at £34million Vieira on his bench and doesn’t bring him on, so he doesn’t have faith that he is going to improve the team that was out there.
“Fabio Vieira cost £34million. Mikel obviously thought he would have weakened the side by bringing him on.
“They do rely on the perfect pass and the thread; they have not got full-backs that deliver really good crosses; they have not got a midfield player that switches play or plays De Bruyne-style crosses.”
