Real Madrid academy product, César Palacios, has torn his ACL during their US pre-season tour.

Palacios will now return to Spain for further evaluation, according to ESPN.

The 19-year-old picked up the injury five minutes into his first-team debut in the 1-0 defeat to AC Milan.

Álvaro Rodríguez was also injured during the game, suffering an ankle sprain.

Madrid’s medical staff will make a decision on whether to send him back to Spain along with Palacios.

Real Madrid play LaLiga rivals Barcelona in the second match of their preseason tour Saturday in New Jersey.
