Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick, has refused to talk about possible signings.
During a press conference on Thursday, Flick was asked about the LaLiga club’s interest in Athletic Club forward Nico Williams and the need for a defensive midfielder.
The former Bayern Munich coach refused to be drawn on Sergi Roberto’s future.
Roberto, who was Barça’s captain last season, has been without a club since his contract expired on June 30.
“At the moment, he is not a player from Barça,” Flick said when asked about a possible new deal for the player.
It is believed Barcelona are in the market for Williams, who has a €58 million ($63m) release clause and another midfielder.
