Jimmy-Jay Morgan has expressed his happiness after signing a new contract with the Premier League west London club.

The 18-year-old attacker extended his stay at Chelsea for another three years.

Morgan had joined the Blues at the end of the January 2023 transfer window from Southampton.

Speaking after putting pen to paper on his new contract, Morgan told Chelsea’s website on Wednesday: “I am extremely happy to extend my stay. Who wouldn’t be? It’s Chelsea!

“Ever since joining the club, I have felt comfortable in the environment, which makes you confident enough to push yourself to new limits and get the best out of you. I’m grateful and very lucky to be part of this community.”

Morgan was the Under-21s’ top scorer with 16 goals in all competitions during 2023–24 season.
