Southampton Chief Executive Officer, Rasmus Andersen insisted that Paul Onuachu will only be sold at the right price.
The Saints paid £18 million to sign the Nigeria international from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk in January 2023.
The 30-year-old was loaned out to Turkish Super Lig side, Trabzonspor last season where he made a big impression.
The lanky hitman netted 17 times across all competitions.
Trabzonspor want to sign Onuachu on a permanent transfer but are yet to meet Southampton’s valuation.
Andersen said clubs interested in the striker’s signature must pay the asking price.
“My phone rings every day when people want to talk about Onuachu. But if you want to buy a Ferrari, you cannot come up with Fiat money,” he was quoted by NTVSpor.
