Fidelis Ilechukwu has dedicated his Nigeria Premier Football League Coach of the Season award to his fans.
The young tactician led the Rangers to win their eighth NPFL title last season.
Ilechukwu was awarded a sum of N1m for his achievement by the NPFL.
He said the award is a call for more success ahead of the new season.
“I want to dedicate this award to Dr Daniel Olukoya, Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Lloyd Ekweremadu, General Manager of Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku, the management of Rangers, my players, my family and all the supporters club members and fans of Rangers International across the globe and the media,” he stated to the media.
“Thank you so much for believing in me. Without your support, this award will not come through. It is a call for us to do more at Rangers.”
Ilechukwu is currently preparing his team for their CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against US Zilimadjou of Comoros.
