Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, is backing Manchester City midfielder, Rodri to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.

Real Madrid duo of Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham appear to be frontrunners for the prize, after they won the La Liga and Champions League titles.

However, the debate has changed after the Euros and Copa America this summer.

Rodri put up solid performances as Spain emerged champions of Europe while Lionel Messi led Argentina to their second consecutive Copa America trophy.

On social media, Oliseh responded to a post endorsing Rodri for the Ballon d’Or award with, “Do we need to say more? Rodri is in a class of his own”.

The Ballon d’Or award ceremony takes place later in October.
